Leupold’s Fresh Tracks with Randy Newberg takes viewers along with America’s most dedicated public land hunter. On public lands, weather seldom cooperates and often times the animals win. Always a story to be told; man versus himself, wildlife conservation, public land advocacy, all through the eyes of a hunter who is deeply connected to these lands and the animals he shares them with.

  • Fresh Tracks: Season 1, Episode 1 - Nevada Mule Deer

    A new season, new format, new show title, all ride on these first few hunts. Randy heads to the Ruby Mountains of Eastern Nevada with friends David Brinker and Jeff Sposito. The audience learns of a serious liver condition Randy has, and just how serious it can be when things go bad.

    Enthusiams abounds as Randy and Jerry Pritchard fly thousands of miles arriving by boat at their moose camp on the Kateel River. It doesn't take long for Alaska to temper their excitement. Ten days of tough hunting finally bring in the bull they are searching for.
